Custom Built Purse - Finishing Touches

At this point, I have almost completed my bag. All that is left to do is to join the inside of the bag to the outside. The technique I have decided to use is to join the top edges, and cover the unfinished edges with bias tape for a neat and tidy look.

First, I joined the tops of the two pieces with a hand stitching, so that I had better control of making sure everything was sitting the way I wanted.

Once that was done, I stitched the tops together for more stability while attaching the bias tape. Then, I attached the bias tape.

Once done, the bag is complete. Finally!
